Ballet for Everyone
Outreach Classes return to Grande Prairie at Alexander Forbes School in Winter 2025!
Alberta Ballet's free Outreach Classes travel across the province, bringing the benefits of dance to more youth.
In this free 6-week program, youth will explore ballet technique, music and the joy of movement–all in a relaxed environment with a focus on building confidence, nurturing self-expression, making new friends, and strengthening physical health. No previous dance experience is required.
Classes run each Tuesday from January 14, 2025 to February 18, 2025
Hosted by Alexander Forbes School, 7240 Poplar Dr, Grande Prairie.
What to Wear & Bring
- Students should wear comfortable clothing that is easy for them to move in. No formal uniform is required.
- Students will dance in socks. If a student owns ballet slippers, they can also wear them for class, but it is not required.
- For safety reasons, no dangling jewelry is permitted during class.
