Biography

Taketo Gohara is a distinguished record producer, composer, and sound designer renowned for his collaborations with a diverse array of Italian artists and composers, including Vinicio Capossela, Brunori Sas, Elisa, Francesco Motta, and Biagio Antonacci, among others. His extensive experience also encompasses partnerships with prominent rock artists such as Edda, Pier Paolo Capovilla, and Negramaro.

As a composer, Taketo has crafted music for various art installations, notably the "Marginal Carillon" for the inauguration of Miart 2022, in collaboration with painter Eugenio Tibaldi and art curator Irina Zucca. His work extends to the ballet realm, where he collaborates with esteemed dancer and choreographer Stefania Ballone from La Scala in Milan.

In addition to his artistic contributions, Taketo is active in the advertising industry and has made significant strides in film, specializing as a sound designer with over 30 films to his credit as a soundtrack mixer in Surround sound.

In the contemporary music scene, he has performed live with notable artists like D. Rad, producer of Almamegretta, and Cesare Picco at various contemporary music and art festivals.

Beyond his creative pursuits, Taketo is committed to education, teaching Sound Design at the European Institute of Design and the Centro Professione Musica in Milan, while also conducting Master Classes on sound in both academic and professional settings.
