Alberta Ballet is going global! Next April, Alberta Ballet will be touring to Dubai for the first time in its history to present a work created by Artistic Director Francesco Ventriglia. This event, presented by SAMIT Event Group, will take place at Dubai Opera on the 4th and 5th of April 2025 and will feature Alberta Ballet’s exquisite dancers.

“This is an amazing opportunity to showcase our artists. Each of the dancers has been hand-picked from amongst the artists of Alberta Ballet." says Ventriglia, "I am very proud to be able to present Alberta Ballet on such a prestigious stage like the one of the Dubai Opera for the first international tour of my artistic direction."

Francesco is reviving the ballet, A Thousand Tales, where audiences will encounter beloved fairy tale characters from classics like Cinderella, Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Swan Lake, Aladdin and more. The story invites audiences to travel along on a magical adventure within this fantasy world, set to a stunning score by the acclaimed American Contemporary composer Alexey Shor, and the exquisite set and costume design from the prolific Roberta Guidi di Bagno.
