Join Alberta Ballet's artistic and production team for entertaining and informative discussions on what it takes to produce a ballet production, as well as more insights into the world of dance. Learn about the choreography, the dancers, the music, and more! Discover the fascinating facts about ballet and what’s REALLY involved in making a successful production happen.
Alberta Ballet is excited to announce the return of the Speaker Series program to accompany the remainder of the 2013-2014 Season.
These evening sessions include a Q & A session with the people behind the scenes from various areas of the art of ballet and allow you to get even closer to Alberta Ballet than ever before.

Come for an in-depth conversation with Troy Powell, Ailey II's Artistic Director, to find out more about the guest company gracing the Alberta Ballet stage the weekend after this session.
On Stage at Giselle
March 19 | 5:00 PM | Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium | $45
This unique session includes an on-stage tour as Alberta Ballet prepares for its presentation of Giselle, a behind the scenes look at the backstage elements of the production, and an opportunity to watch the dress rehearsal following the session with Harry Paterson, Alberta Ballet's Director of Production & Touring.
